Implication: Owners absorbing these pressures through lower margins should identify which cost line, insurance, wages or finance, is hitting hardest, and whether a structural fix beats quietly absorbing it.Read more on the SmartCompany website here CPI eases to 3.8% for the June quarter Annual CPI eased to 3.8% in the June quarter, with the trimmed mean at 3.6%. Major banks now expect the RBA to hold the cash rate at its 11 August meeting rather than raise it further.
**Implication:** Owners with variable finance or pricing decisions pending can plan with more confidence over the next quarter as rate-rise pressure eases. Read more on the Australian Bureau of Statistics website here
